Mark Thompson, CPA
Mark received a bachelor's degree from Iowa State University in finance and accounting and an MBA from the University of Iowa.  He worked for 6 years for large national CPA firms before starting the Mark Thompson CPA PC in 1984.

In 2007, he added Julie Eich as a partner forming Thompson & Eich CPA.

He is married with 3 grown children.

Julie Eich, CPA
Julie received a bachelor's degree from Iowa State University in accounting. She worked a few years for Cargill before joining us in 1998. 

In 2007, Julie became a partner with Mark Thompson in Thompson & Eich CPA.

Julie is located in the Des Moines area, and available for our clients there or in the Fort Dodge office.

Julie has a cat named Mouse and is a loyal Iowa State fan.

Joe Tyrrell
Joe received a bachelor's degree in finance from Bethany College. He joined the firm in fall 2007 and will be preparing individual tax returns and doing bookkeeping and payroll work.

Joe was married in December 2007.

Sherry Carlson
Sherry received an associate's degree in accounting from Iowa Central Community College.  She joined the firm in 1999 and handles some of the payroll and bookkeeping work in addition to some administrative tasks.

Sherry is married with 2 children.
